My art is an exploration of our universe in all of its complexities - an exploration of the polarizing forces we find ourselves dancing between. Thematically, this dualism rests between the raw marks of a painting contrasted by compositions evoking something ethereal, primordial, and divine.

Beauty and imperfection -- structure and chaos. I invite you to take a moment and consider your own associations with these words. Our society demands of our chattering mind to organize, calculate, and control; to search for happiness in the confines of our own self-imposed structures. Yet, I often find that the most beautiful moments in my art are some of the most uncontrolled. I find both peace and balance in the beautiful and chaotic twists and turns that are made with each intentional yet free drop of paint. Through my art, I invite you to surrender to this infinite cosmic energy you flow along with the steady beat of time, and appreciate the journey you are on in all of its beauty, chaos, pain, growth, and love.
